Robin Window Feeder Reviews

4.3 Rating 9 Reviews
Read Vine House Farm Reviews

This window feeder allows an unobstructed and up-close view of your birds feeding. The rain canopy is separate so it can be positioned to restrict larger birds. Suction cups attach to the window and it is made from UV-stabilised polycarbonate.
Suitable for both bird seed and live bird food such as mealworms.

It has remained on our conservatory window, but so far we have not had any visitors, even though the bird food looks very interesting and very inviting. So we are still waiting expectantly The bird feeder is quite sturdy and looks good.

Good quality. Simple to fix. Once the birds got used to this feeder it is visited frequently.

Very easy to put up on the window. It took a couple of weeks for the birds to realise it was there and, ironically given the product name, the robins have not been near it but the blue tits, great tits and the coal tits love it. I like that the roof and feed tray are separate so you can set the height of the roof as you wish depending on the birds you want to attract.

A nicely made unit. The only minor quibble I have is that the ends of the canopy can vibrate against my window pane in a stiff breeze, making an annoying rattling sound. Easily cured with a couple of small pieces of Blu Tack.

The window feeder is great, but it needs slightly bigger suckers to make it stick a bit firmer to the window. It’s fine for smaller birds, but has popped off if a larger bird lands.

This was delivered very quickly and is very sturdy. No birds have come to feed at it yet but I think I need to move it to a different window.

This feeder has not been a great success. Birds were not visiting feeder placed quite high up on a large kitchen extension glass window. Gave up and moved down to almost ground level close to a dish which I was feeding mealworms from. I have subsequently had robin and sparrows visiting the feeder which is now perilously close to the ground. Was going to try moving it up the window in stages. Feeder has been up over a week in its first position.

We always advise customers that birds can take a while - weeks sometimes - to become accustomed to a new feeder. You are doing exactly the right thing by placing it next to an existing feeding area and slowly moving it to the desired position.
