This updated design incorporates a new seed tray which means less mess when feeding garden birds. It also has a large diameter, which means the distance between the cage and feeder is greater which making them even more effective. Feeder not incuded.

“Brilliant. When used with feeder and tray. No squirrels can get in. They last for ages due to not being wreaked by them and the trays stop spillage and deter rats”

“excellent. This is keeping the squirrels and jackdaws off and the little birds are finding access easy. Also the seed tray stops most of the discarded seed falling on the ground hopefully helping to keep rats at bay. But then I am putting a portion of seed on the ground each day for the bigger birds so probably helping the rats anyway! Will stop all feeding again if I see any. The birds are enjoying the seed bought from here recently.”

“I have now bought 3 of these. My bird feeder station is in a small back yard and between the wood pigeons landing on the seed trays and starlings dominating the fat balls the smaller birds were constantly disturbed and frightened off. It took a few days before the sparrows became confident but now they are fine and have been joined by goldfinches, a regular robin and an occasional bluetit. My pigeon/starling problems are solved so I would fully recommend this product to anyone with the same issue”

“Very nice product and does the job for small birds. The cage is good at keeping the Squirrels from damaging the ring pull feeder (which are now made from plastic!) but the plastic tray is being demolished by them as it is easily accessible through the cage. A metal tray would solve the problem. I have written about this on Vine House Farm contact site but have not had a reply, which is disappointing.”

“This was a good price compared to other sellers. It arrived quickly and is very strong and does exactly what it is supposed to do. When the smaller ones are in stock will purchase one for our small feeder.”
