Great for fledglings and smaller garden birds, chopped peanuts can be easily digested. They can be fed on their own or mixed with other bird seeds.

We have never tried these chopped peanuts before, but they have proved very popular with our smaller birds e.g. tits, dunnocks, as they can be used in a smaller feeder that proves difficult for the larger birds e.g. jackdaws, to access.

There is a great deal of competition amongst my local birds for the chopped peanuts, so much so I think I need to buy another feeder, a couple of days and they have gone with very satisfied feathered friends flapping their wings with joy.

Fastest disappearing bird food bar none! Greenfinches and tits are especially fond of this and we were also happy to see a pair of jays gathering up any spillage, as we thought we had lost our pair some years ago.

Zero waste and I have to top up every day. The brand new red tailed woodpecker fledgling loves them.

We have many small birds in our garden that we hugely enjoy watching but some as in the rest of the UK we have not seen here for a year or two until CHOPPED PEANUTS arrived !!!! Goldfinches briefly returned but Starlings with their young have arrived as if by magic emptying two feeders everyday for the las two weeks. Amazing how the word got out !!
