“The feeder ring was nice and strong and as soon as I filled it with fat balls and hung it on one of the arms of my bird feeder, well out of the reach of squirrels, birds started coming to it - jackdaws, bluetits, robin etc. I was so pleased. But the next morning when we looked out of the window the whole feeder, with nd two seed feeders was flat on the ground, bird seed spilled out and no sign of the suet ball feeder at all. Use the Bird Feeder Hang Right to suspend your bird food feeders from tree branches. A versatile hook that loops round a tree branch, also could loop it around the feeder pole and then attach it to the feeder.

As these are the super suet fat ball`s with a higher fat content ,they are susceptible to temperature change .
As it has been very cold lately the fat balls will harden up.
Still does not stop the birds feeding on them.
