“This is good stuff - perfect for the application (chain slap/ protection, despite this tape being manufactured for electrical applications). I'd experimented with Neoprene tape, which is good, but quite stiff and not as pliable as the 3M 2228 tape. It's no wonder many of the pro teams use this stuff for chain slap protection. I should have listened to the experts in the first place and saved myself a few quid before settling on this tape!”
