I'm sorry about the issue with the clips - It sounds like they were damaged in transit.
We were completely unaware of this issue until we saw this review as you have not been in touch with us. We are always happy to sort out any issues, no matter how minor! This is also why we include a section on our delviery note to show what to do if there are any issues, and we send a follow up email a few days after delivery to check everything was okay with the purchase.
I will arrange to post a full set of replacement clips out to you to fix this issue - The clips simply snap together through the clip hole on the mat.
