“Proper protection is essential on a motorbike. I was reluctant to buy specific motorcycling jeans and find the separate leggings more versatile. I am of a fuller figure and I was concerned that the 38 size would be too small - trust the Urban Rider sizing guide as they do a great job to ensure that you get the right fit.”

“Good fit.Comfortable. They provide a level of protection when I ride with regular jeans or cords. I haven't used them with armour, but the pockets appear to be in the right place for protection.”

“Top quality gear from Merlin, fit great and sit underneath regular jeans or trousers no problem. Bought the additional armour just for that extra bit of protection. I’m a waist 32, I bought the 30 and they fit perfectly. Would highly recommend.”

“Good protection that you can wear under skinnier jeans. A great solution for the gap in the market for motorbike jeans being in more fashionable cuts. They also keep you warmer in winter.”

“I'm not the one to review but I just have to on this occasion. The fitting of this thing is not great at all. The knee pad seems to have a mind of its own and is never in the right place. In general, it looks like a sack of old material clothing and it's not worth £100 Shame already worn can't return.”

“A bit disappointed that they hadn’t fixed Velcro to the inside of each hip pocket and the material did look to be lifting a little where it rubbed with the other piece of velcro. Guess it was just a case of missing a step in manufacturing. Apart from that they look fine. Would have sent them back for exchange but they were out of stock and I have a trip coming up.”
