First off the fit and finish is superb - as you would expect from the price point .... however I'm left with a white elephant as it is THE nosiest helmet I've ever owned ... it makes the Roeg it replaced seem silent !! At first I thought it was the vents so I taped them up and no the horrendous noise is from the poor visor fit - this would be expected from a retro helmet but of all the ones I've owned with less than perfect sealing this whistles so bad you would have to wear ear plugs - something I've never had to do in the past. All in all a great display piece but not fit for anything else. Great shame and expensive lesson.

Great product, classic style and with the benefit of carbon. You also get a smoke visor and nice helmet bag included.

Awesome helmet for what it is, for commuting, since the visor doesn’t seal much and it can get a little bit noisy on higher speeds, but that can be a blessing in the heat. Lightweight and great angle of vision. For me a perfect fit. Very good materials, specially the carbon. Goes great with my R nine T, classic look. Definitely will buy again.

Ill start by saying that I bought the Bell Bullitt Carbon as an additional helmet with a Shoei GT-Air as my go to for longer trips on the highway or in the rain. The poor seal of the faceshield or the open hole vents would limit the utility of the Bullitt in these conditions. That said, there are a number of rides I do regularly which involve a mix of short stretches of highway with mountain twisties or runs down a varied coastline. I wanted a helmet that I could wear with goggles or sunglasses to have a near open face experience with but with a chin bar to increase protection. I also wanted a well vented shell for our hot summers in Japan. Beyond that, and maybe most importantly, I wanted a helmet that I would be excited to wear for years to come. The Bullitt hits these targets spot on. I debated going with one of the other colorways as the weight difference doesnt really justify the extra expense. Dont get me wrong, in carbon it is very light but Id honestly be fine with the standard weight. The deciding factor was simply that I wanted a helmet Id be excited to wear time and time again. The Bullitt Carbon is just too damn sexy... so I tacked on a bit more time to save up to spring for the carbon. It matches the carbon fender and rear hugger of my bike and just looks epic in its own right. Read the reviews, the Bell Bullitt is a bit noisy and the face shield and vents will leak in the rain but I took a run down the coast the other day and the combination of the sunshine, ocean air, my bike running great, and this helmet reminded me of how good it feels when you pull it all together perfectly. A more rational decision could be made and a Shoei Ex-zero or even Glamster would offer similar functions with more tech advantages but this helmet satisfies something deeper than the intellect and, for me, touches the soul.
