“Being short (58") and somewhat fat (210lbs, normally 36" waist)), I was concerned about sizing. Contacted Fuel and they said somewhat skinny fit. After some procrastination, I decided to order them (size 38 as recommended), and despite being in Canada, they turned up in 2 days. Initially I found them too long the thighs and too wide in the waist, but with the hip armor in place and a belt, waist is fine and thighs, sure a bit, but on the bike its fine. I think they look awesome. They run a little hot in the sun, but Ill take it for both the look and protection!.”

“They would be perfect if the size/shape was a bit better. The legs are very skinny compared to the waist. I can get my fist in the waistband but the thighs are tight enough to nearly be uncomfortable. The material isn’t too waxy and it doesn’t feel cold or wet. The knee pads fit in easily but there’s not enough room for my hip protection.”

“Sizing advice is correct - go up one size. Material feels durable without being too thick & inflexible. Detailing & stitching is excellent. Armour is easy to fit and remove and feels comfortable both on & off the bike. Accordion stitching really helps with comfort in a sitting position. Legs feel a bit narrow whicjph helps inside boots as there isn’t too much material flapping around. Harder to fit over boots if that’s your thing. Loses a star as you always catch your heel on the lining when trying to take them off, necessitating the mad, one-legged chicken hopping dance. Other than that, highly recommended. Usual fantastic service from UR.”
