“Really pleased with these. Comfortable and I think they look great. Padded, so plenty warm enough for me on winter rides in The Lake District. Hip and knee armour. Well made. Sizing is a bit on the neat side so if in between sizes, go up one size.”

“Buy bigger! I wear 32 or 31, and size 32 is impossible to wear. Even if youve seen the video tips, always get a size bigger! The quality of the trousers is excellent... I hope its worth every £”

“The good stuff - fabulous styling and really well made. The armour is excellent quality. These are probably the best riding jeans I have seen anywhere. Great colour choices too. The not so good stuff - I was already expecting the sizing to be snug but surprisingly the 38 waist fitted me perfectly, this is the size I normally go for. However, legs are very long and quite tight fitting. Rugby thighs are never going to fit in. The result of the length issue is the knee armour becomes a shin pad and theres no adjustment. In a riding position the tightness holds the armour in place but as soon as you shift position it slips down. Fuel, if youre reading this please remember that not all bikers are built like the fine specimen in Urban Riders video review. Most bikers I meet look like me, middle aged, a bit tubby and short arsed. Please size to fit us and youll sell more stuff. Conclusion - I have sort of solved the knee armour problem by replacing with a set from another manufacturer. Im keeping the trousers because even though I look a bit weird, I really like them. If you are a racing snake get these trousers. If you are a tubby chap get them anyway and go on a diet.”
