“Love the helmet, my only gripes are that the vents seem somewhat lacklustre, (couldn’t feel a noticeable difference with the brow vent open, and the exhaust vents seem pretty small), and that the visor doesn’t have more locking positions. Neither are dealbreakers for me, but something to note. I’d be a bit peaved if I bought the helmet at full price (no shot at Urban Rider, just a comment on Shoei’s price point). A good reminder for every big-headed rider like myself, you WILL need the thicker cheek pads if you don’t have large face. I’d say I have an “average” width head, but it’s a bit of a football [oval]. Though my head is 63cm, I find this helmet barely small enough, I wish I could have tried on a XL and seen if that was big enough for my melon, but I’m still happy with the helmet overall.”
