Buying a Shoei helmet, for me guarantees two things, quality and fit. This Glamster didn’t disappoint. Quality through and through, fits perfectly (I have two other Shoei’s in different styles) and it’s built with a small shell so although an XL, it doesn’t look huge when worn. Styling is perfect, I bought this to wear on my two Norton Commando’s (1975 mk3 and 2024 961 SP). As usual for Shoei it comes complete with removable chin draught guard and a Pinlock anti fog lense. The only reason for 4 stars is that it’s a little noisy though this I suspect is a compromise for the reduced shell size, and I find the visor latch release a little fiddly to operate. But these are minor complaints. I’m very happy with my purchase, (also a shout out to Urban Rider for offering this quality lid in gloss black, XL size for £250, a real bargain).

Lovely retro look. Quality feel to every aspect of the helmet. Worth every penny.

Great Jacket which looks great when not actually on the bike and very warm. Def needs the D3O armour but once fitted, I couldn't be happier. As others have mentioned the Zip is a little lightweight for a motorbike jacket and there are no zipped pockets, but for short urban riding, it's great. In terms of fit, seems to be true to size, I wear a 45 chest and ordered the XL and its spot on.

The Glamster is a super fit. Wind noise not excessive for a retro style helmet. Very competitive price and fast delivery. Five stars!

My first Shoei helmet, the design and styling is superb, initially fit feels a little snug but is incredibly comfortable, very pleased.

Very lightweight helmet and looks really nice, the sheild I wish had more locking points, it's either open or closed and it does not stay open, the wind will shut it, venting is pretty bad, it gets hot, my biggest complaint is wind noise, where the cheek pad meets the back they left a tunnel that wind just goes it and whistles loudly and unbearable. I put some tape over it and used 2 chin skirts over the sides to help with the noise and it's helped a lot. I was using a shoei rf1200 before and the quietness of that is what made me buy this one, I thought all shoei products were made to similar standards and I was deff let down by their engineering on this model, I know it's retro but they could have done better with it.
