“This helmet is so light and the quality of manufacture is very high as usual with Shoei. Fit is true to size and comes with a pinlock the shell size of this helmet is tiny compared to other full face helmets of the same size. I would strongly recommend this helmet.”

“The helmet is really beautiful, I was aware the matte finishing is really prone to fingerprinting and all but so far it’s doing well and any small stain quickly goes away with a soft wipe. Regarding the fit, when I first tried it I kinda worried a bit because it was hard to put on, really painful for the ears. After a few rides, i feel this must be the right size as it really fits snugly on my head an cheeks. Although I’m not supposed to do that, I did try to fit some sunglasses and although not impossible it is almost as challenging as a pro-level yoga position.”

“Recieved mine yesterday and I was very impressed by the light weight and comfortable fit. Coming from a Bell Moto3 this was a joy to wear during my first test ride yesterday, even if its a retro inspired lid and usually lacks in some departments this one seem to tick all the boxes. No weird wind noises, rather quiet even without earpluggs and airflow is good! Not tried pinlock yet as im waiting for the smoked visirs to come out. Definitely a retro inspired helmet that can be used to commute all year around and not just for your short weekend trip in great weather. Thanks UB for a quick delivery as well.”

“Fit & finish is spot on, lightweight, quiet. Shipping was a fast 2 days from the UK. I hope Shoei will have a photochromic visor for the Glamster.”

“Despite the name, wow, such a great helmet. I own the AGV x3000 and a Bell Bullitt. This retro lid by Shoei is definitely fighting for top slot! Love it! Fits similar to the RF1200.”

“Ive been waiting for this helmet to come out for months. Finally a retro helmet with subtle creature comforts. I typically wear a size medium in Shoei and Bell. This fits like a champ, no surprises there. Its a really comfortable helmet, very lightweight with great visibility. Its extremely well built and has the typical Shoei quality. Im hoping they come out with a dark smoke or hi-def yellow visor option soon, then it will be 100% complete for me. It is definitely quieter than my Bell Bullitt and with the chin curtain, pretty much perfect. As always, Urban Rider is fantastic to do business with - at my front door in Virginia in two days.”
