“I agree with another reviewer whose height is the same as mine which is 5'8". The Small size works great for me. I am glad I didn't go with the Medium as it would have been too loose for my taste. I usually wear slim fit jackets. I also agree that the forearm area of the jacket is a tight fit but not an issue at all when riding.”

“Quality is great. Size chart is not. M was too big for me at 5’’8”. Return shipping costs too much. Had to spend $150 locally to alter it.”

“I bought a black Resurgence Ultra Riding Shirt in an earlier production run. Apart from me ordering the wrong size (with armour your really do need to go up a size), there were a number of problems with that jacket; no AAA labelling, no rubberized lower buttons to protect the tank and some less-than spot-on stitching and zips. This correct-size-for-me jacket is obviously from a later run and all of these issues are sorted. It's a great, mid-weight, well-armoured, well-made jacket. I can't fault it and the dark green is a good change from black.”

“All round a great simple piece, feels heavy duty and love the details like the lining and the positioning of the armour pockets and inside stash pockets. The size description from Urban Rider is on point and would recommend sizing up if you have a more square build or like your items to fit relaxed rather than more fitted. This is a relatively thick garment and does not breath as you might think from a 'riding shirt' - this is not a piece summer gear if your summers are anything above 25C. My only gripe with this item is that Resurgence should have used a more heavy duty main zipper with larger pull tabs for easy on and off, with regular gloves on (not MX gloves) it is pretty much impossible to zip this thing up, so be prepared to potentially adjust your pre-ride helmet, gloves, jacket ritual. The AAA cert paired with its simple styling made the decision to buy this a no brainer.”
