Wanted some protection for during the summer without having to wear my usual heavy bike jeans, and these are perfect. Fit is really good, even though they are a tad long for my stumpy legs, its not an issue when they are on. Really well made, and somehow manage to keep you cool when its hot, and warm if it gets a bit chilly later in the day, Unnoticeable under my 501s, but give you the confidence that you have some protection. Highly recommended!

Ive worn Bowtex exclusively for a few years now and decided to replace my well worn pair with the UH1. These leggings are so comfortable, barely detectable under skinny jeans, and the lycra and stirrups keeps the SAS knee armor firmly in place. Used existing D30 hip armor I had and they fit perfect. The kevlar in the Bowtex seems more sturdy than the dyneema in the Pando, but the UH1 is infinitely more comfortable. Hope I never have to find out how they fair in a crash.

I absolutely love these pants, as well as the handful of experiences I've had with Urban Rider. This was my fourth (I believe) purchase and, as a US citizen, Urban Rider handily smokes its US vendor(s) competition. The customer service and expediency with which I've received my orders has been astonishing! The armored leggings are incredibly well made and comfortable...like a second skin. I wear them underneath my John Doe Taylor Mono Straight jeans, and they don't bulk-up the look whatsoever. It's truly as though I've got nothing on other than my boxers and jeans. I feel well protected, God forbid I go down, and that's what matters. Give yourself the best chance possible, ya know? In regard to sizing, I probably could've gotten away with a medium; yet I ordered a large, just in case. I'm glad I did because they fit spot-on and with the drawstring you're really able to tailor the pants "just right."

great pair of protective leggings. wore for a trip up to scotland from london. very comfortable, once on you hardly notice they are there, even with the knee pads in. i am 5ft10 and the small fit true to size. the great thing about these is you can throw anything over the top and know you’ve got protection so very versatile. they add a little bit of warmth.

As a shorter rider, I figured getting riding jeans or trousers with armour ran the risk of the knee armour sitting too low. These leggings are a great option as they fit snugly with the armour in the right place - you can add armour for hips and they can be worn comfortably under slim fit jeans ( if that’s your thing!) or any other trousers you own. It means you can wear jeans or trousers you like wearing but still wear the protection you need underneath.

Feels like freedom! They fit easily under slim fit jeans (even with hip and knee pads in) coz of their good snug fit. Fit is as expected for a 34” waist. They just look like sport leggings when changing which is a bonus, and they are well vented so don’t feel hot under jeans. Comfortable, fashionable, protective. Happy buyer.

Fits well, the knee armour is thin but strong, it doesnt show under jeans.

Comfortable. Fits really well (and true to size). Allows you to wear normal trousers and aren't too hot so you don't need to change when you get where you're going. Really handy. Hoping I never find out how safe they are!
