“I was skeptical about ordering the jacket from abroad, but I was presently surprised. This is a very high-quality jacket and the fitting is spot on and when riding on a cold winter night I don't feel the cold or wind at all. Design and materials are top-notch! The attention to detail is impressive, from the useful sunglass quick access pocket to the many adjustable straps that give you a better fitting. I especially love the two big front pockets and fleece-lined hand pockets. Most importantly, it has D3O protection pads which makes it feel a lot slicker and less heavy and bulky, although it is still pretty hefty compared to my previous jacket. I added a D3O back protector which sits snuggly in its dedicated pocket. I love this jacket, it's exactly what I was looking for in terms of style and features. Great job Merlin and kudos to Urban Rider for a smooth buying experience. ”

“This jacket is excellent quality. Fit is great. Looks great. Very comfortable to wear. D30 shoulder and elbow armour included. Zips are a weak point on all motorcycle clothing but these are quality YKK. Not tested waterproofing yet but I expect it to be good. Very pleased with the jacket”

“Merlin are great at producing quality products at affordable prices. This jacket is tough, hardwearing and looks as if it would offer great abrasion protection in an accident. The built-in armour is useful and I bought a back protector to go with it as well. It is versatile as it has a zip-out liner to help match for the weather and it is comfortable to wear with or without this in place. With a waterproof lining it is an excellent option for want a more traditional look.”
