“Good fit and feels well made except... The zips are too small to be used with gloves on - how about nice chunky YKK zips like I had to fit in my last Merlin jacket? The poppers on the sleeve cuffs are starting to pop off at random which is particularly annoying when trying to put on winter gloves. Previous Merlin jacket lasted well considering everyday all weather use.”

“Great Jacket. Fantastic features. Would highly recommend. I’m normally a size XL but followed the size guidelines and measured up to be 46” chest and ordered XXL but found that to be too big. XL however is a perfect fit. Excellent service from Urban Rider as always.”

“Absolutely perfect jacket. Can be worn in very hot days. You still we be sweating, but far less.....compared with another Merlin Wax Cotton jacket on a silimar day and I was so wet afterwards. Fit is also perfect, see UR video, for me - 1,80m and 81 kg - M fits perfect (and so does my other Merlin Wax jacket as well).”

“I have a few Merlin items and am always impressed by their gear in terms of quality and value for money. The Elmhurst is a great close fitting waxed cotton jacket. The chest pocket design adds a nice style touch, the Outlast liner works really well and the olive is a great colour to wear with some jeans and brown leather boots.”
