“Awesome jacket for the price! I was looking for a nice looking waxed canvas jacket, but not willing to pay the Belstaff prices. This jacket offers high quality materials, armor and at a reasonable price. Looks great with my Fuel Sergeant trousers. I am a 38-40 inch chest and the size small fit perfect.”

“Had this jacket for a few months now. Really good quality, nice weight to it. Does well in the rain, although Im sure Ill need to re-wax at some point to keep that going. Not good on really hot days but the vents work well when its a bit warmer. Some good design features in terms of pockets and removable liner”

“Love the style and fit. Didnt however like the fit if the armour and removed it but thats more me than anything wrong with the armour although it dies seen a but bulky compared to say D30 armour. Jacket is warm and wind resistant. Have yet to try it in the rain do cant speak to its water resistance. Pockets are plentiful, and well sized but perhaps not very easily accessible. Im 5 10" tall 205 lb. size large fits nicely with enough room to wear a sweatshirt or not too bulky sweater underneath with the liner in.”

“Very happy with this jacket - runs a little big, but is versatile, the removable liner, vent pockets and armour pockets all very functional and excellent value for what was my first jacket.”

“I’ve been looking at this jacket for a while, I wanted something for the winter months as I usually ride in leather the rest of the year, it hasn’t disappointed. Great fit, I am on the larger side of clothing, often it’s hard to get a good fit across the shoulders and back, the size is perfect for me. I use Warm and Safe heated liners so I can’t comment on warmth to much as I ditch the internal liner, but it’s waterproof and comfortable. It also looks the part so that ticks a box as well. Overall really happy, and will be buying Merlin clothing again. Great service from Urban Rider, really quick delivery.”

“Just received my merlin jacket from Urban Rider. Firstly the delivery was so quick it arrived 2 days before it was due. The jacket itself is amazing quality and fit and looks even better on. I would say the sizing is about right so would advice going fir your normal size jacket. If youre in between sizes Id go for the smaller option and just lay off the pies for a bit. Overall, fantastic product from a great company.”
