“The quality of this jacket is just superb, especially considering the price. When I first put the jacket on I wasnt sure about the fit, but there are various adjusters (press studs and a drawstring) to use and it turns out its the most comfortable jacket Ive had so far. My only gripe is that the elbow armour seems quite mobile. Overall though a great looking quality jacket at a good price, a bargain alternative to the top brands... why pay more?”

“I needed something waterproof yet stylish and so far I think Merlin Yoxall was the right choice. I got caught in heavy rain already and Reissa membrane did a great job keeping me dry. Jacket fits well and is very warm even without the thermal liner. It’s very comfortable, has plenty of pockets and I bet it’s going to look fantastic covered in mud. The only thing I regret it doesn’t come along with is the back protector - just some simple foam padding which needs replacing. The back pocket for it could be much longer though to cover whole spine, not only half of it. I’ve got a Knox Zephyr jacket in size L but with Merlin I had to go for size S - sizing is definitely bigger than usual.”

“The jacket is warm, comfortable and great for the price. Lots of poppers along the sleeves allow easy fitting to the body or to allow for clothes. Vents allow easy flow of air to control temperature. Removable thermal layer fits securely to the inside of the jacket and sleeves. Thermal lining also provides additional inside pockets. I am yet to use it in inclement weather, but the fitting implies that it should be adequate to keep me dry if caught in a shower.”
