“I think the greenish tint of the fabric is nice, it works well with the brown leather parts. They are also fairly comfortable in the hands, provided that you choose the right size. I’d say the Shenstones are a bit on the larger size. So when in doubt, go for the smaller size, e.g. L rather than XL. I also like the simplicity of the wristband. Just right for the everyday summer gloves. I felt a slight fatigue on the palm side of my hands when on a longer ride, possibly due to the gloves not being the exact right size for my hands. But as daily commuting summer gloves these are quite nice and stylish. I can recommend them, especially if you’re riding a modern classic. Just doublecheck the correct size. If I was buying these today, I’d go for one size smaller.”

“Color is off. They are more black and green than brown. The seam on the underside of the thumbs creates uncomfortable pressure points that limits these gloves to short hops around town. Maybe I just got a mis- sewn pair. The soft D3O knuckle armour is nice.”

“On the tight side, I measured for medium but needed large/XL. Medium restricted blood flow to hands as too small.”

“As with other Merlin products these are an excellent pair of gloves. Very lightweight, but strongly constructed, they should last a long time. Also very comfortable and will be my go to summer gloves”
