“Good quality, thick leather gloves. Ridden in anger on a 5 hour motorway blast at 5°c a little north of the legal limit and fingers were well protected; cool rather than warm, but not uncomfortably so. Oddly, tip of the middle finger on both hands was chilliest. 4 hour battery life on medium true to my experience and really noticed when the juice ran out so filaments definitely do their job! No issues with dexterity or using switchgear so all in all, I would definitely recommend. Paired with heated grips and you'd be sorted for any level of cold.”

“I purchased the Merlin Minworth gloves on the strength of the Urban Rider review on YouTube. I have found that the review was accurate and agree that you need to size up one from the size chart. I found l needed to use the high setting as l get cold hands easily but the battery easily lasted for the length of my winter rides. My only criticism is that the elastic at the wrist is a little on the tight side. Needs a good pull to get them on but fine when wearing them.”

“I appreciate heated gloves will never be as slim or stylish as the non-heated ones, but this was bulky to a point where I felt my grip dexterity would be affected. It's a very personal choice, but since my fingers are a bit slim, it didn't really seem like it would do the job for me so I returned it.”
