“Cant knock the quality of these gloves. They look good and are plenty warm enough. Cant comment on the waterproofing yet as havent had them wet. Only bug I have is that the material under my throttle hand bunches up a bit and. becomes a little uncomfortable after a while.. Not an issue on shorter journeys but may be irritating on longer rides. Hopefully this will reduce with wear as the leather breaks in. I wouldnt let this put off a prospective purchase as it could be the same with any thick winter glove on a twist grip. Probably just down to individual fit. Overall I would recommend these gloves.”

“These gloves are ideal for cold and/or wet days; and being Outlast they do not overheat when the temperature warms up. Not tested in heavy rain yet but knowing how well Merlin waterproofing works, I think they will be up to the job. For waterproof & warm gloves, they are fairly thin so ideal for urban commutes.”

“I was looking for a warm, waterproof glove, and the Catton seemed like a good fit. They felt a little bulky until I rode with them - the description is correct that theres plenty of dexterity. Theyre much warmer than my old cold weather gloves, so Im happy with the purchase. Size guide was correct. This was my first purchase from Urban Rider - great price and fast shipping to the US.”

“Arriving swiftly as ever from UR, these look great, feel soft/broken in out of the box and feature Outlast, from those clever folks at NASA. This means that while you can feel the airflow over the gloves, you don’t feel the temperature. Splendid.”

“Fantastic gloves - nice detail finishing and an old school look, but with Outlast lining. As an owner of a Merlin jacket with Outlast this NASA developed material is pure voodoo. You remain at a comfortable temperature regardless of the weather is doing. These gloves maintain a good control feel despite being built for winter. Very happy customer.”
