“Got about 500km on them and they look and feel great so far! Comfy pair of shoes or boots I have period. I havent tested out the waterproofing yet but they breath pretty well and dont get crazy hot even in 28 degree weather. Would highly recommend these for the protection and value you get. Well done Merlin.”

“The shoes were pretty comfortable from the get-go and they only took a couple of days to break in. The are firm and appear to be durable but also supple. The laces are quite long and I found that other than making a big floppy bow, I tie them round the ankle but this means you need to lace the boot up quite tightly. My only criticism is that when I bought them just before the great summer heatwave of June 19, they do get quite hot and sweaty and could be a bit more breathable but I get I would trade that for waterproof and warm in the cold/wet months which lets be honest, are more frequent!”

“Overall, these boots are fantastic. I bought them because I love the way they look, but theyre quite comfortable. Im typically a US size 10.5, and the UK 10 fits me great (maybe a smidge on the roomy side, but I wouldnt exchange them). The material is excellent quality, from the thick soles all the way up to the laces. Id rather crash in these than my sport riding boots (though those are getting quite old). I particularly appreciate that these boots give almost no indication that they are going to save your foot in a wreck -- even the ankle armor is completely invisible. The leather straps across the toes are subtle and blend right in. These simply look like the stylish, rugged boots that they are. The olive color is more of an olive-brown, and goes well with jeans. In regards to Urban Rider... They offered the cheapest price I could find online by a significant margin. So much so that I ordered international (Im in the USA). I ordered late on a Wednesday night, and the boots arrived on Friday morning! WHAT?! Merlin and Urban Rider earned a fan.”
