“Good slim fit in with wind protection and zip ar very well made. Protector quality is not amazing, buy you can easily switch for a d30 armor. Never had anything from Merlin and now I consider myself a fan of the brand!”

“Went through the process of looking at loads of different jackets but kept getting drawn back to this because of its classic design. It actually looks better in the flesh, has a premium feel to it with an easily removable liner, decent zip up pockets for wallet/phone. Already got the thumbs up from friends and the wife. Bargain at under £200.”

“Beautifully finished Leather jacket. Fits perfectly. I am 1.8 meters tall with a 40 inch chest and the size 40 is spot on. Feels so comfortable on and off the bike. No straps, buckles or studs around the collar. Shipped to NZ in 5 days which was brilliant. Recommend highly. Excellent service from Urbanrider.”

“Excellent looking, quality leather, loads of protection that can be easy removed - to make jacket more comfortable / flexible. Air vents work well and removable gilet means they are not too much on a spring day. Only complaint would be wrist straps are a bit small and not adjustable so a bit tight so me so often don’t fasten. But overall very pleased”

“This jacket fast became one of my favourites. I have A LOT of jackets. I was unsure when I made the purchase as it was very competitively priced, but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Very soft feel to the leather, excellent true to size fit and extremely comfortable. The armour in the shoulders and elbows adds another level of protection without being overly stiff. My only criticism would be the very tight fit around the wrist. When riding, I tend not to use the wrist poppers, but leave it open instead. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this jacket. Excellent service again by the team at Urban Rider.”

“Its still only March so I haven't used the jacket on the bike yet but just putting it on it feels great. Good quality leather and general build quality seems great which is what I have come to expect from Merlin. Im 5:10in , 15 stone with 44in chest and I can just get away with a 34in waist so the size large fits me fine. service from Urban Rider was fantastic as always”

“As the tag says each Merlin is "A special product emblematic of fine craftsmanship" and this jacket is no exception. Fine quality leather in a unique clever design that gives you a timeless look and class appeal. My skin is very sensitive to cheaply made liners and man-made fabrics but this liner feels smooth to the touch and somewhat cool on the skin. Very proud to own 5 Merlin jackets so far and I plan to acquire more as soon as the opportunity allows. I love brands that maintain a good heritage while adopting scientific innovations.”
