“I order a size too big which was returned and after a week I had not had a replacement. One phone call and it was sorted and 2 days later I received a replacement pair. DPD let this company down and it is not the guys at Urban Riders fault. Thanks for the quick turnaround. I think the account Manager may need to review who he uses for returns.”

“First of all, I ordered them on a Thursday night US East coast time, so for all practical purposes they were ordered on Friday. They arrived in rural Massachusetts on Tuesday Morning. That was FAST!! Excellent service. The gloves seem very good. I am in between sizes, so sized down as recommended. I bought a medium. They have broken in a lot in a couple of weeks and they are confortable for the most part. The thumb is just a little bit shorter than it could have been. The rest of the fingers seem ok. Overall, and after a couple of hundred miles I like them a lot, but still wonder if size L would have been a bit better. Time will tell. Other than my size doubts I definitely would buy them again.”

“Saw these gloves and they are exactly what I was looking for to go with my slightly modded Z750. I went for an XL - my usual glove size - and the fit is near enough spot on, main fingers feel snug but plenty of flexion and the leather will push out very nicely. The glove is actually medium thickness in feel but really really comfortable. The scaphoid protector isnt as bulgy in terms of feel or as imposing as the pictures might suggest. The feel on the handlebars is nice, should help with handlebar fatigue on longer rides. Only minor grips is the thumb fit isnt as consistent with all other fingers but as I say, minor gripe. This review has been done based on 20 miles of 60mph+ roads in Northern Ireland. I think sub £50 is a very fair price for the Merlin brand - worth buying. Excellent service as always - cant be faulted. 4.5 out of 5, wouldve been 5 if the thumb fitting was a bit more consistent with other fingers.”

“For the price these gloves appear to be great value and look really stylish. The leather may be a bit stiffer than more expensive gloves but I think it would become more supple with wear. Protection and double layers in impact areas seem to be well thought out. Good fit around the wrist to go under jacket cuff.”

“Great summer gloves, good level of protection but still plenty of airflow. The thumbs are slightly on the large side but not a big issue. Went for them from UR instead of other suppliers as these were gloss leather and just finished the look nicely!”
