“Fit is slightly larger on the waist than a regular pair of jeans but sit nicely with a good shape. The hip armour isn't the quickest to get in an out but not the worst, and it is recommended if wearing them off the bike to not look like Shakira. Were pretty warm through the last winter, will see how they are through the summer months now”

“Great fit and profile, I bought the same size as I would wear in Levis- they look like regular skinny jeans to the untrained eye. I bought these as they don't look too different from my normal jeans. They feel like good quality, and have been comfortable and pretty warm on the couple of rides out that I've worn them on so far”

“Very high quality…very comfortable as it’s a single layer …armour provides excellent protection. I think from all the brands I have tried, John Doe seems to be the highest quality. Also UR has the best customer services and fastest shipping compared to everywhere else I’ve ordered from”

“Sturdy jeans, buy the size you normally have, I don’t agree with urban riders size down advice, this is the second pair of John Doe I bought and I am 36 normally and the size 36 is perfect, as these skinny jeans are skinny in the true sense if you have bigger than average legs and bigger than average calf muscles then these probably won’t fit you, they have stretch but as the material is so heavy in nature there isn’t massive amounts of give, but otherwise they are very comfortable, the black are more a dark grey in colour, knee armour is fiddly to get right also but comfortable. But the main point is THEY LOOK AMAZING !! and AAA safety what’s not to like !!!”
