“John Doe Iron head jeans Fit well, and look great. Very comfy. Only negative as with most jeans bit of a hassle removing knee armour however it is comfy enough to leave in for short walks etc...”

“These trousers look and feel great, come with armour included and seem to do a reasonable enough job when it's cold. The lining goes most of the way to the bottom, leaving room for turning up or tailoring if (like me) you need less than 32 length. Hopefully they'll remain untested in a crash situation but I've previously had a minor tumble with D30 equipped on my elbow and I only realised I'd landed on it when I later noticed some scuffing on the arm of my jacket.”

“Bought these 6 months ago but only used a few times. Gashes appear on the knee, would love to say its because I got my knee down on a hairpin bend but truth is It musty have been an innocuous snare. The denim is so very thin and fragile. On the positive side the abrasion under layer is ok and they look good (without the gashes)”

“I have spent a great deal of time searching for a riding jean that also looked really good and as close to a normal pair of jeans as possible. These are as good as you will find and I will be ordering all colours. Andrew Anderson”

“These jeans look really great and have a great slim fitting look. The inbuilt knee pads sit slightly low which is the only reason I have taken 1 star off.”
