I ordered a few items from Urban Rider to take advantage of sales and availability, but needed the items to be shipped internationally. After reading all the reviews I could and going by the sizing chart as well as Urban Rider recommendations, I purchased the John Doe Stroker Cargos. First impressions were that the pants are much darker than they appear in the photos. I ordered size 33x32, my normal size, as per recommendations. The waist was enormous. After taking tape measurements, they are closer to a size 38x32. The length is spot on. Perfect off the bike, good while on it wearing boots or high tops. Very happy with the length as well as the material. They seem top notch, while looking good and feeling nice. The liner didn't feel too hot walking outside in 80°F/27°C heat. I really wanted to love these pants, but am extremely disappointed with the waist size. Returning them would cost me 35% of the price. Not worth the trouble. I understand with quality control, sometimes issues happen. It's a hard pill to swallow. Urban Rider has been very prompt with returning emails...although not with the answers I wanted. Shipping was quick, inside of 2 weeks. I would purchase the pants again, but only in store or with free returns. Easily 4-5 stars if sizing & color were correct

Order arrived promptly. They look great, nice fit, no idea about the protection and hope I never find out. My only criticism would be they're a pain to take off cos the knee armour tends to get bunched up making them difficult to remove over the feet. Other than that no complaints so far.

They look and feel great on, the quality is excellent, I usually find hip protection a bit uncomfortable, but the protection in these trousers is very good. All in all, a well made, good looking, premium quality product

Would have been a five star review but the trousers were sent with the incorrect armour fitted. There was a knee armour piece in one of the hip areas which was uncomfortable and so was removed. Other than that they are great trousers, withstood some light rain, no leaks, great looking and felt secure.

You quoted 5-7 days and even in the build up to Xmas you were spot on! The pants are double the price I’ve paid on bike jeans before, but wow the quality and feel of these John Doe’s is very special! Won’t be test riding them for a few months but looking forward to it! Thanks Urban rider team

The color is brighter in the photos compared to reality. It looks darker. Other than that it would be nice by JohnDoe to let us decide what level of protection we want for the armor instead of having to buy separately level 2 armor like I did. Quality is very good. Also if you are 6'2 like me take a 34 in length, and if it's a little too long cut some of it and just sew a hem. Sadly i purchased a 32 length and it is a bit too short... I would have returned it for another one if the import duty and fees weren't that high... damn Brexit.. I used to buy from Urban Rider but I think it is the last time as a customer. It is now cheaper for me to purchased in European countries :(((
