Have to say these are even better looking than expected. Very nicely made boots. Seem true to size, if but, a tiny bit narrow, I have a narrow / athletic foot and they’re a wee bit snug. Expect a bit of break in to resolve however. I like my foot ware tight feeling, so done up the way I prefer, zipper-only on and off is not quite possible. Break in may solve this as well. Great quality and nice detail and finishing. My first John Doe’s, not my last.

Love these boots! Very comfortable. Gave 4 stars because one of the zippers snags on the way up if I try to zip up from the bottom. Works when I angle it inwards a bit though. Might just be a manufacturing issue but rather than send them back overseas for a return I'll keep em. I like that they come not only with the black laces but an extra set in brown as well for a different style.

My previous boots were a pair of TCX Street Ace, which are excellent, but I like these John Doe's even more. They have a better sole for off-bike wear (both for grip and for flexibility), and the zipper is very convenient - it's great to have them already adjusted for a snug but not too tight fit every time I put them on. They take a little breaking in, so don't be worried if they're a bit stiff at first. For me, the leather relaxed within about the first 2-3 days of wear.

Absolutely loved the style of these boots online and the on/off bike use. Unfortunately the fit was slightly small for me, as they were tight around my toes. Comfort would have been an issue when walking. I have returned them and exchanged them for 1/2 a size bigger. Quality pair of boots, so looking forward to getting them.

Great quality, very comfy, true to size although slightly tight for first few days then fit perfect.

The boots have a inside seam right at the pinky toe that creates a pressure point, walk in them for more than 5-10min and you're going to develop a blister. Comfortable on the bike but don't expect the get dual use out of these around town or even when pulling over to go in shops.

These are more of a cross between a trainer and a boot. They are very comfortable and fit true to size. The side zipper makes putting them on a breeze. Overall, this is second pair on John Doe shoes, and I haven’t been disappointed.

Really comfortable, they look awesome and the zip on the side makes things so much easier.
