Also the payment and shipping process to Germany was very easy, not expensive and arrived within a few days (even in Covid times and just before Christmas). “i bought this book for my new to biking nephew, as a bit of inspiration to get him to think out the just buy a bike box, but its so informative and beautifully illustrated, its a must for anyone into bikes to read ,the perfect greasy thumbed book for the garage of an inspiring bike builder, or the coolest coffee table book around , so i bought my self one as well ,oh and sent a copy to my brother in Spain delivered by the fantastic Urban Rider”

“I bought this for my 15 year old son who is customising a little 125 bike he bought. As an A level DT teacher myself, I feel there’s loads of really good info for the absolute novice here. It’s got that old school diagrammatic feel from the 60s/70s. Enough base info to give a leg up and inspire someone to get started and have a go, plus enough tech stuff to keep you up to speed without sounding like gobbildigook. Will happily use some of this with students to help them understand without the dryness of modern textbooks. Although ironically it has that old school textbook feel, it still reads and is written in a more human manner, with a little tongue in cheek. So a great place to start, but it won’t a replacement to a Haynes or manufacturers manual, but will definitely feel less daunting or intimidating. Good effort A*!”
