“Really pleased with the jacket. Heavy duty, whilst looking stylish. Comfortable fit after opting for a size up. Nice and warm without being too bulky. Would recommend.”

“Today I received the jacket via delivery without problem. Looks very durable, quality product. Such a good looking jacket, hope I never have to test it. Definitely go one size up than your regular size. I wear medium, but ordered a large and fits perfect with protectors inside.”

“Received this as a gift from my wife in July (way to warm to wear then) and decided I would provide a review after the first ride. Well, today was the day! I ride a Triumph Speed Triple, so there isnt any form of wind protection, and I have about a 40-minute ride into work (interstate and 2 lane roads). When I left this morning, it was 39 Fahrenheit (just shy of 4 C), and 30 minutes of the ride is on the interstate (70 mph speed limit). My ‘base layer’ consisted of my normal polo and a long sleeve shirt (very thin material). So, not much additional clothing and just this jacket. While the speed on the interstate is listed at 70, traffic typically flows around 80 mph. For the 30 minutes on this trip this morning, speed was at 80, with a few runs at a ton. This jacket did a great job overall! The jacket definitely did its job and kept me comfortable. I could have gone for it being a bit warmer, but considering the speed I was traveling, the duration, and no wind protection, I can’t complain! Seriously, this is a great jacket, and it did its job. Just for context, 39 F at 70 mph, feels like 22 degrees F (windchill) OR -5.4 degree C. As others have said, go a size up. I normally wear a Large, got the XL, and without padding it fits good. I haven’t tried it with armor yet, but based on my experience with other gear, it will fit snug once in. My ONLY complaint currently, it did not have a zipper tab. I am not sure if this is intended to come without one? I resolved it for todays ride by using a safety pin, but will need to find something soon.”

“I’ve been eyeing this jacket up for months now. As with any gear, I feel it’s a good idea to try it for fit in a shop where possible. Unfortunate for me, Manchester, my home city just doesn’t have the calibre of cool motorcycle clothing stores that are available in the fair city of London. In fact. The bike culture is just completely up north”. Anyway. A chance trip to London to stay with friends brought me the opportunity to get to eat, drink and buy jackets from the bike shed. Sorry urban rider. Missed you, as it was your day off! I’d have made a right mess of my bank account had you been open. So, I got my hands on this BSMC resurgence jacket in black, and wow! It’s very black. Like; priests socks black. It’s glorious. Well. I had to have it. Don’t get me wrong, £275 is a respectable amount to pay for a denim jacket. But, that abrasion resistant, pakrev lining. Is it impressive? You wouldn’t know it was there. That’s the cool thing. This is a really tidy looking casual jacket( I know that is a contradiction, but it really doesn’t look like functional bike gear. My only recommendation? I bought a large. Rather than my usual medium size. The medium fit okay. But allow for the kind of gear underneath, that you normally wear on your bike. I usually have a knit long shirt. Or something like that. Circumstantially, I ended up wearing the jacket to drive home in my car. Now, this is a pretty toasty jacket. No doubt about it. But, it was honestly really comfortable to wear. The jacket is stitched to accommodate a slightly curved back( think riding stance). So, it was never tight across my back or shoulders. I’m going to slip some D30 armour in it that I have at home. That will also make it a bit snugger. Bear this in mind too, if you’re looking to buy. Definitely buy this, over the blue denim version. If nothing els, because it’s a rarer bird!”
