“I was a bit worried after reading so many divided impressions people seem to have regarding this helmet but after receiving and riding with it for a few hours I can safely say I have had no issues. The two main issues people seem to have are the fit and the noise. Firstly the fit: I have a medium oval head and usually wear a Shoei Glamster. Once on the Bell is noticeably less padded than the Shoei but you have the right size it is still comfortable (if there are pressure points like people complain, you might need to size up and get thicker cheek pads). As the helmet has such a small opening I find it harder to get on and off my head over my ears than other helmets I've worn but I may need to break in the lining a little. Secondly the noise: I only use this helmet on a low displacement vintage Honda that I run around town rarely hitting 50 mph. The noise hasn't been a problem for me. With an opening as large as the one on this helmet, there will obviously lots of noise will be created at high speeds, sort of like a half face helmet (would you wear one of those on the motorway?) In summary: beautiful helmet, looks really cool, is comfortable, really big opening, well made, bit loud when fast.”

“This Bell Bullitt Carbon is an absolute quality stunner. The transcend Candy Red gloss with the carbon profile, I cannot wait to see this in full sunny daylight. The big visor, the magnetic clip, the holden accents…..whats not to love. And it comes with an extra visor, a travel bag and it’s sold for the best price ever! What’s not to love about this helmet? Downside? Sure, it is more noisy. But who cares when you look this good!? The fit is true size. Maybe a bit more of a round shape then normal for me. Yet, no chin to the front of the helmet for me.”

“Colour looks great in person with deep red that picks up in the sun. Fits differently to most helmets so would recommend you try on. A negative for me would be the visor does not sit very well with the helmet and could do with a chin curtain. The visor could be fixed with something like draught stripping but would have been nice to not have this problem.”

“It’s a super stylish and fantastic quality helmet, personally I would prefer to have the option to pay less and have a standard soft helmet bag rather than the hold-all provided - it looks great but not very practical (and a very tight fit). The helmet itself performs well - I’m not riding at high speeds so wind noise not an issue (vintage bike). The fastening tab bottom left on the visor is a bit distracting. Overall it is beautifully made, comfortable and excellent quality.”

“Delivery and packaging was great. Helmet is better than I expected, the carbon effect within the deep red colour is awesome and so is the gold detailing. Fit is very snug but comfortable and came in a fantastic Bell leather bag lined with soft red material inside. Free dark visor too. Overall very pleased and priced very well at £350.”

“The looks of this helmet are amazing, the pictures don’t do it justice. When seen in sunlight the colours really come alive. Only downside is a lot of wind noise at higher speeds. But overall very happy with the purchase”
