“Good helmet, I have ridden about 500 miles with it so far and it seems light and quite quiet at reasonable speeds. The simple external shape suits the style of my Triumph well and the glossy black paint looks great. The quality seems fine, but I would pay more for it to be made in Italy rather than China.”

“The first thing that struck me was how light and comfortable the X3000 is. That and the field of view is great compared to my old lid. The locking mechanism is a doddle to use which very handy as having no Pinlock, it does have a tendency for fogging up and for condensation to appear this time of year (its currently November at the time of writing) if youe going sub 20mph but I suppose thats nothing that anti-fog spray or mask cant also remedy. The only other minus point is that it can be a bit noisy at speeds above 30mph unless the visor is fully closed. Overall, the looks; classic without being too blatantly retro, comfort and a very slick locking mechanism makes for a cracking helmet.”

“Built quality is very good. Provides great vision through the wide visor. It creates some small turbulance around my eyes inside the helmet through the emty space between chin and the chin guard. A chin spojler would be great. I sorted it out by sticking a small piece of sponge on hte inner side of the chinguard and it helped a lot. On the other hand, its good for driving in the cite where more ventilation is welcome.”
