“I bought the Knox Advance X back protector for my Merlin Barton jacket. The back protector was the one recommended by Urban Rider when I bought the jacket. It certainly fits snuggly and a perfect fit...once it’s in the pouch. Unfortunately it was a bit of a mission to get it in. So much so that I ended up ripping the lining, which I’m gutted about. Maybe there’s a YouTube video out there that I should have watched first that shows you how to put it in? Too late for me. That said, the rip can be fixed, which I have still to do. Word of advise, maybe bend the armour a bit more. I didn’t want to in case I broke it. Something had to give. Anyway, now it’s in, it’s staying in. It works perfectly well with the jacket and it’s comfortable too. You don’t really notice it’s there. Shame it was so difficult to insert in the first place.”
