Gloves are sometimes a tough fit for me and these are no exception but in a way that is unusual. Curiously these gloves are a good fit across the palm but very tight around all my fingers. I do not have Cumberland sausages for fingers and the fit is very odd. What really put me off was the pull tab. The very first time I pulled the left glove on, meeting no resistance around my palm, the pull tab ripped clean off on one side before my fingers were even in the glove. I cut off the remaining side and decided to keep them but this does not inspire confidence. The velcro wrist fastening is nice and easy to open and close even with a gloved hand and the wide opening it creates makes putting them on quite simple. So in summary they're uncomfortable for now and not very well made perhaps. The leather and visible construction seem otherwise good and the scaphoid protection on the palm is a nice detail. My hope is that these will stretch with wear and the fit will improve, but also that the pull tab was a one-off and the gloves will be otherwise sound. A little disappointing at this stage and hard to recommend.

I love the fact that these offer scaphoid protection and hope that I never have to use it. Think these gloves look great and they feel high quality. I ordered XXL as my previous Mk1 XLs went slightly on the tight side as they aged and the fit is perfect.

Great looking gloves and safer than just leather with the pinky reinforcement and scaphoid system. The size L I bought (by normal size) fits pretty well. Snug enough to feel secure but not restrictive. For the size though, I can't cinch the velcro up tight enough to get to a point where the gloves can't just be pulled off like a slip on glove. So the closure is a bit of a let down for me. There is also a seam along the top of the thumb (where the webbing of the hand is) I found uncomfortable which made me adjust my hand position a bit. I only feel this on the bike and not just trying the gloves on, so beware, depending on how you hold the bars the gloves may be slightly uncomfortable. Likes: look, scaphoid protection, construction, reinforced slide protection on pinky. Dislikes: Closure doesn't close tightly enough to make gloves totally secure (although if you use rancher style/slip-on gloves it makes no difference - if you wear gauntlets then these will feel like they'll fly off). Seam in thumb I found uncomfortable on the bike. Overall: Glad to add these gloves to my collection, but these won't become my everyday gloves. Service from UR is consistently some of the most professional and courteous I've ever had. They even applied my Club51 points after I had made the purchase and forgot to apply them myself (d'oh!).

I bought these gloves after do quite a bit of research for a short cuffed smart phone compatible leather riding glove. Upon first receiving them the quality and attention to detail was evident, the fit is pretty much exact as per the size guide which contributed to a feeling of general dexterity and a confidence inspiring touch. These gloves are extremely comfortable whilst still being very very sturdy and robust. Only criticism I have is that the smart phone touch sensitivity is a bit hit and miss resulting in it being quite difficult to use a phone with the gloves on, which I shouldn’t be doing anyway so no major issue I suppose. Urban rider delivery was spot on as always and the price was fair.
