“The cuffs are clever and easy to use. They suit tour/sports/scrambler style bikes best but are plain enough to work with any bike. The armour is clever and you feel super well protected. I reckon they run a smidge smaller than Revit gloves. Not good for colder weather. Short ride will be ok but you'll want something else if the thermometer is below 10C.”

“Not being one to skimp on protection, I opted for the following mouthful: the Knox Handroid Pod MkIV. If the laborious - albeit accurately descriptive - name indicates, the fourth iteration of these gloves offer futuristic styling with safety features to match. My daughter calls them my "robot hands," from the mouths of babes, and all that. And because of that robotic look, I'm confident my hands will be especially protected in the event of a spill. What ultimately sold me on Knox gloves were their insistence on using hard palm sliders, and their proprietary SPS is the best of breed. The Handroid pods are quality throughout, from materials used and construction, to the innovative BOA wrist closure. I can barely get the glove cuff over my Goldtop jacket's wrist (with sleeves zipped). Conversely, with sleeves unzipped, the BOA wrists barely fit within the jacket. Either way, you'll likely have to forego wearing a watch. Such is the compromise of a short cuff glove. Would I purchase again or recommend to others? Absolutely. Now, off to once more annoy my daughter with "robot hands" and dream about a Knox Honister. Cheers to Urban Rider for prompt shipping to the States.”

“Excellent quality gloves and incredibly comfortable. I deliberated over the Full Handroid or the Hand Pods, and opted of the Pods after ordering both to compare and I found the Pods were still long enough to cover the cuff of my jacket, which was one of my main criteria for a shorter-length glove. I typically take a size 8.5 - 9 so took a size XL and they fit perfectly.”

“Great quality & unique looking glove. Very well made. I have small hands so I got a ‘small’ they where a little bit tight at first but they have worn in quite well now & are the perfect size. Definitely recommended.”

“These gloves look great and I'm sure offer unparalleled levels of protection. However the fit isn't great, they are very tight against the size chart (going up a size would result in too long fingers) and the cuff is too chunky to fit under the jacket sleeve, too narrow to fit comfortably over the sleeve and too long fit upto the sleeve.”

“The Handroid Pod gloves are great. I already own a pair of the gauntlet Handroid gloves, and the Pods offer the same great fit and quality. I wear the gloves when I wear my Predator Motorcycle Helmet. My students and friends alike all love the overall look. The fact that the gloves offer unmatched protection is an added bonus. I would highly recommend the Pods to anyone, though the price is a bit steep. Then again, you get what you pay for.”
