“Although less sturdy than the clear visor, this is a nice addition. I would prefer that Shoei changed the screw fitting to something that doesn't require a tool. A screwdriver is required to switch visors, if for example, riding out in daylight and returning at night. The procedure is a faff and it would not be easy to do on the street in haste. Nicely made and much more comfortable than sunglasses, as well as safer, given that it can be raised in a moment, despite the track only rating.”

“It doesn’t click shut like the original and has a large tab for opening which slightly ruins the look. I used the original clear visor as a template and cut the dark smoke visor to the same shape, removing the unsightly tab and fitting the closer from the original clear visor. Now looks better and closes correctly.”
