“This is a great colour and size for our new kitchen. On the website, the colour is described as "sparkling gravel" but although there is some quite subtle metallic element in the paint, I'd describe it more as a satin brown - see photo. The electrical control is very discreet and easy to use - just press the button underneath to switch on/off and between the 2 heat settings. The fact that it comes ready-filled with oil means that we didn't need to get a plumber in - our electrician could carry out the whole installation. We had the wire taken through the wall into the utility room on the other side, so there is no wiring visible in the kitchen. The heat setting is remembered when the power goes off, so we had a wifi-connected fused-spur fitted in the utility room, so the radiator can be scheduled as needed. The lower heat setting is ideal for keeping towels dry in the warm weather. The higher setting is quite hot and we're hoping that will provide heat to that part of the room as well as warming towels in winter. Only a couple of minor downsides: there was a small piece of what looks like swarf under the paintwork near the top-right corner (see photo). It's hard to notice in use, so we didn't think it worth replacing for that. Also, be aware that when the description says "the lowest horizontal bar is for decorative purposes only and does not contain any oil so does not heat up" it's actually the bottom group of 4 bars that doesn't heat up. So 3/4 of the bars aren't heated. I assume that's what they mean, rather than ours being faulty.”
