Weve sold these hold ups now for nearly 14 years. They sell all year round and are so soft and comfortable they are one of our best sellers by far. Not too expensive, wash well and actually do stay up. Products like this one dont date because they will easily work with most of your Autumn/Winter wardrobe.

“I go for reliability, logevity and comfort. I have worn the medium size Levante Nero holdups for well over 10 yrs, for work and dressing up, summer and winter. They are very comfortable yet glamorous with the soft lacy tops and wide non-slip band. They're not cheap but I rotate a few pairs, wearing each pair once and then wash them gently in a net bag so they last me at least 6 months, which makes them good value for money. Usually the first sign of wear is a small non-run hole underfoot but no embarracing ladders. They never roll down for me. If they do feel loose I just dampen the rubber strip and they hold firm for the rest of the day. Unfortunately, recently I had to return a batch of medium size as they seemed small, but I tried the next size Tall and they fit like the medium. So I don't know if Levante have changed anything, or if they were just packed in the wrong sized packaging - I haven't changed my measurements suddenly, so that's something to watch out for. I just couldn't manage without them. Other brands are no substitute.”

“I enjoy wearing a garter belt even with hold ups. The top band is very thick and is hard for the clasps to work. The silicone strips needed to be cleaned often because they would become slick and not stay up very well. This could be because I like wearing my hold ups to the tops of my legs and I am tall.”

“Great opaque hold ups. Very comfortable, great quality and wash well. The last pairs I had lasted more than 5 years so I thought it was about time to buy some new ones!”
