“I received these promptly and well packed but the box had been torn at the top which led me to wonder if the stockings might have been purchased before and worn. Under the present circumstances I cannot go to a post office and therefore returning them was not an option.”

Dear Ms Sparling Rest assured we have a very strict policy here and if a product goes out to a customer and is returned if we suspect they have been out of the packaging, never mind worn then they are sent straight back to the customer. We inspect every parcel that is returned to us and would never want to send a product out to a customer if someone else had tried them on. Its simply not good hygiene.

“This is the second pair I've tried, after returning the first pair for being faulty (can't fault the company, refund was quick and easy). As a product they are comfortable to wear, and thicker than other hold ups I have. But they are a bit of a tight fit length wise. They say they fit between 5' and 5'8. I'm 5'6 and they only come just above my knee (they'd be more like socks if I was 5'8!) One also has a little issue with the stitching at the very top, where it's appears to have been stitched folded. They are fine, however, as long as I keep them for longer skirts so the tops don't show.”

Dear Customer I am really sorry to hear that you're not happy with your recent purchases. Given your dimensions, these hold-ups should indeed fit, but they have a 97% Nylon (polyamide) content, which means they don't have the best stretch factor, I'm afraid. We do, however, have a great range of opaque hold-ups which I'm sure will be able to offer you a better alternative. Given that there is a sizing fault, you are more than welcome to return them to us. We can either issue an exchange, credit note or a refund. We will also feedback your complaint to the manufacturer. “While these are good quality the fact they are one size means they are not long enough in the leg. I bought sized hold ups from a rival brand and they were far better in length.”

“Delivery and arrival are always quick from uktights, they could explain a few principals about customer service to some other sites. As for the stockings, they fit beautifully and stay in place all day. As a man who likes to wear staying in place under my clothes is a must. They feel great and seem to wash and wear well.”
