Cable knit is one of those designs that seems never to go out of fashion, especially during those dark, cold winter months, when we need a little brightness and variation added to our outfits. The combined cable knit, rolled cuff and rib effect of these socks is only enhanced by the subtle yet inviting colour palette that Oroblu have selected. Warm reds and purples, as well as wintery blacks and greys, are certainly the colours of the season. The fabric of the Gwen socks, just like their sister products, consists of an innovative lana wool, viscose and cashmere blend that sits on the skin comfortably and is as soft as you could ever want.

“Oh luxury! I had some a while back and someone (not mentioning any names, but watch my eyes....) when helping to do the washing - bless - put them through the dryer. Now I can luxuriate in soft socks again. One thing though. Please will someone make cashmere socks with soft tops. I get fat legs at the end of the day and deep chasms in my ankles is not a great look.”

“Bliss it was in that dawn to be alive, because it was my birthday. But to be wearing cashmere socks was very heaven! (With apologies to W. Wordsworth), these are lovely socks. Just wish maybe someone would make soft top cashmere socks soon.”
