“Based on the size chart I am well within size M, however, when I tried the tights on they were way, way too small for me (both too narrow and too short). I am wondering if by accident the wrong size tights were in the M-size packaging. Overall very disappointed.”

I'm so sorry to hear of your poor experience with this pair of tights. If you have used the size guide online to order, you may well be right, that this pair has been wrongly packaged.
