“No elasticity at all, they gather round my ankles, not a cool look. I did email UK Tights - twice - to ask if I could swap 2 out of the 3 boxes for a different type but no reply.”

Hi Melanie Thank you for your review, and I am sorry to hear of your disappointment with the product and lack of response from us. I have checked our helpdesk emails, and can confirm that we don't appear to have received anything from you. I have taken a look at the product you ordered, and can see that the composition of the tights is 100% Nylon, which means that there is no elasticity in the yarn. Nylon has no stretch (as it was designed as an inexpensive alternative to silk, which has no stretch also), and relies on other incorporated components such as Elastane (Lycra/Spandex) or Polyurethane to add the stretch you require. “As I have got older, my figure has thickened - I seem to have mislaid my waist somewhere. As a result I struggle to find tights that will stay up and just hate having to constantly repair to the loo in order to give them a hoist! Then I bought a pair of Pretty Legs and - they stay up!! I was so thrilled! But could not remember where I bought them and could not find another pair in any of the local shops. Finally, I went online to search - and to my delight have ordered 8 pairs - two sets of these packs of ladder resist tights and two pairs of the light compression tights. Since the sizing was different than on the pack I already had, I tried a pair on in trepidation. They fit! And they stay up perfectly. Delighted!!!!”

“These are the worst tights I have ever worn. I was annoyed they were the only ones I brought with me on a work trip as that meant I had to use them, even though I could tell as soon as I put them on that they are appalling quality. I'm not sure if people have been paid to leave good reviews but there was nothing good about these tights. They look cheap and feel cheap. They are baggy (and I am not skinny) and look old even when you put them on for the first time. This was my first purchase from this site, unfortunately. It doesn't fill me with confidence.”
