These new Bahner 140 Denier Tights have a compression factor of 18, meaning these are perfect for people who need support hosiery for more than just the office. But they are not all that they seem. With a 140 denier fabric, they are robust, but not nearly as thick as you might think. 140 denier does not refer to their thickness, as they are knitted into a semi opaque pair of tights, but have all the strength and robustness of a super opaque item. These tights are designed for medical and restorative needs too and are great for those who need all round amazing treatment.

“I normally love your service but the most recent order had two problems. First, after reading reviews, I bought a size larger than I normally wear in the brand. The tights were still too short in the leg and I’m only 5”7. Second, one of the pairs had a hole in it straight from the packet but I only spotted it as I put them on when it laddered straight away. Very disappointing. I’m normally a huge fan.”

“These Bahner Extra Firm Support Tights whilst being 140 denier and the website says that they are the thickest tights you have, in fact they are in the context of the support they give they are quite fine for this level of compression. I love these. If your wear medical quality compression tights or stockings which are very thick, and on days you are going out and need to look good but with the compression, these are what I would choose to wear. Just one thing. I bought the largest size, and have some difficulty getting the pantie area over my hips. I did manage it and it gives great support, but, I had to do a lot of wriggling and a great deal of pulling. Well worth the effort. My condition if it helps other is Lipolymphodema.”

“Ordered a Med to be on the safe side am 5'5 size 8 but were far too short in the leg? Couldn't get them on & no returns if opened?? So sadly waste of money.....”
