Avante Garde means to be at the front of anything important. It literally means to attack, to spring forward with the element of surprise. Pierre Mantoux do this every single season, defying the set in stone truths of the season before, ignoring the wild and baseless predictions of the fashion world. These hold ups fit their name well. The lace has been remodelled, something which is rarely looked at by designers. The design team has gone for a simpler floral pattern, instead of the ornate lace so often relied upon. It is truly different to what we have seen before. It is a truly original pair of hold ups.
