“Very sturdy and good looking door. Very heavy. As I’ve never bought a door before, I was surprised that everything had to be assembled by the person buying the doors. Was also surprised that a hole for the lock mechanism had to be drilled by the purchaser.”
Thank you again for your review, Dan.
We’re really pleased to hear you’re happy with the sturdiness and look of your 6 Panel Cottage Stable Door with clear glazing — they are certainly substantial doors, which is a big part of their strength and quality.
We completely understand that, if it’s your first time purchasing a door, it can be surprising to learn that items such as hardware fitting and lock preparation are completed during installation. Most internal and external doors are supplied “blank” so they can be tailored precisely to the property, frame and chosen ironmongery, but we appreciate this isn’t always obvious beforehand.
Thank you for your honest feedback — it’s genuinely helpful. If you ever need guidance with future purchases, we’re always very happy to talk everything through in advance to make the process as clear and straightforward as possible.
