“Unfortunately, as with another one of their items, the recipe has changed, and I'm so disappointed.
The first 2 boxes I bought were delicious, flavourful, with a strong, spicy apple aroma and taste. However, when I was unable to buy the smaller, individually wrapped bags, at my local supermarket, I bought the box with 40 loose bags. Completely different. Weak and flavourless. I left the bag in the mug the entire time I was drinking, made no difference. It was though all the flavours were muted, hardly any spicy apple taste.
I phoned the customer care team, and the lady I spoke to was extremely nice and helpful, really listened to what I was saying.
She very kindly offered to send me the original smaller boxes ×20 that were in sachets. I was so looking foward to receiving them!
Arrived yesterday, and couldn't wait to brew, and take to bed to enjoy while reading my book!
As soon as I took the bag out of the sachet, I knew something was amiss. No lovely aroma of the spicy apple, and I just knew the taste wouldn't be the same as the first 2 boxes I bought. Twinings have clearly changed the recipe, so now it doesn't matter if you buy the wrapped, or unwrapped, the original aroma, flavour, is just not there.
A huge disappointment. Obviously will not be purchasing in the future.”

We'd like to assure you that we have not changed the recipe, the amount or quality of ingredients we use, or any of our manufacturing processes for both these products and they would both contain the same recipe; they're just packaged slightly different.
Given your disappointment, we would be keen to investigate your experience further by obtaining some samples from the Sleep 20 Envelopes pack.
