And the tea is not nearly as flavoursome and strong as it used to be. Nowadays it is necessary to use double the quantity to achieve the same flavour - also not as smoky as it used to be. I have been drinking this tea for many many years and it is sad that it is gradually diminishing. It won't stop me drinking it but I am forever on the lookout for brands with improved flavour.”

However the reason I had to order boxes of 50 Lapsang Souchong teabags is that you no longer sell those in supermarkets. The boxes of individually wrapped Lapsang Souchong for only 20 teabags is a lot more expensive. I drink about 5 of these a day!”
