“This is how I prefer to purchase your tea. I drink a lot of tea, about one cup an hour. I get through more than one box of 50 a week. I don't wish to pay twice as much for 20 bags, even if the box has a nice design and the bags are individually wrapped.
Personally I wouldn't have minded if you sold 50 tea bags at the 50p extra that you do on the website, but double for 20 is too much. It's a blow for a loyal customer. I'm trying other brands but haven't found a replacement yet, good news for you, for now.
If your plan to double the price succeeds you will lose even loyal customers. Finding boxes of 50 tea bags wasn't straightforward on the website either, a bad sign. Luckily I was able to order and speedily receive a number of boxes. It would suit me if this was available long term.
I've tried the new 20 bag boxes and they are indeed fine, but 3 boxes a week is too much at the price point you're seeking.”
