“I fell in love with this tea ages ago whilst living in France. The combination is a perfect blend of strong, stable black tea with the warm and fragrant tones of orange and cinnamon. It remains a good black tea, which is the best part of it: normally, fruit and cinnamon teas (usually apple or orange) are herbal blends that are either too sweet and cloy, or too light and lacking substance. Often, too, the tang of the fruit takes over and overpowers the earthy base notes that, for me, make a good tea. This blend retains all the best aspects of a very good black tea with the addition of warm spiciness, without being too sweet or tangy.”
